A oneKIND World
Thank you… thank you for following your curiosity here. That curiosity is what gives me hope. Hope that people like you, a seeker of love and kindness, will join us in creating a better world for us all. OneKIND world.
“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.”
~Rumi
As simple as these words are, they are the truth behind the oneKIND Project. I saw how beautiful the world was but knew there was so much more it can be. I saw how disconnected, robotic, and selfish we can be in our daily lives. What my eyes were seeing was breaking my heart.
Thus out of heart break and a vision of the way things could be, oneKIND Project was born. With a mission to shift the way we see the world and each other. A shift towards acting through kindness and embracing each other as one.
Which is why I am calling on YOU. To be a Warrior of Kindness, a Warrior of Love. But, like Rumi so wisely stated above… it starts with ourselves. Treat yourself with kindness. Slow down, notice more. Spend more time face to face with those you love instead of face to phone. Make eye contact when saying thank you to the stranger who held your door open. If you find yourself reminiscing on a treasured moment, think of who added to the beauty of it. Take that extra minute to reach out and let them know. Those acts are priceless, and you never know how far a little kindness can travel.
So go. Add a little more kindness to your life. Watch as it ripples across time, knowing so many more hearts were touched because of the love you shared. And if we all join together, setting our intention to live each day with eyes of love and hearts of kindness, then we will indeed lead humanity to the world thats destined to be…a OneKIND world.
with love,
Ashley
